What to do?
Quinta da Faísca is located in a region marked by its peculiar characteristics. On the one hand, the Douro, a magical region, with its unique microclimate evident in the flavors and aromas of its excellent wines. On the other hand, the contrast with a much colder and drier mountain region where, in addition to wine, potatoes, cereals, chestnuts, almonds and olive oil are grown.

Hikes and Pedestrian Routes
Around Quinta da Faísca, you can walk among the vineyards and absorb all the charm of Douro nature. If you enjoy longer walking routes, the Vale do Tua Natural Park has several marked and approved trails. The Municipality of Alijó also inaugurated, in 2022, a network of 20 Pedestrian Routes approved by the Camping and Mountaineering Federation of Portugal, which extend across all parishes in the municipality, covering a length of 200km.
